I know, I've been a terrible blogger but hey I'm going to try to start this blog back up. Since my last post quite a bit has changed. For one thing I got into university, and I'm study something I didn't think I would ever study and I moved out of home into student accommodation.
So what am I studying? Well, I've chosen philosophy and politics and it's something very different from what I expect. For anyone that has done philosophy at A-Level just know that at university it is very different. At A-Level you are expected to know different arguments from different philosophical points of view and philosophers opinions on these areas. At uni, or at least at my uni, you are expected to become a philosopher and philosophise in a sense while knowing all the other stuff. Politics is also something very different from what I was expecting. So far I've only just started my political science course and it reminds of the researching topics in sociology at A-Level.. You're learning about researching politics and how different data can be used and collected for different topics.
I've only been here two weeks and so far it's been amazing. I've meet some really interesting people and made so many amazing friends. I'm going to do a couple posts over the next few weeks about my freshers week, moving in, getting settled and just general things that have been going on at uni.
I hope you guys will enjoy this blog and find it helpful.
Until Next Time,
Dee.
